A group of citizens, with a few exceptions, were present to hear the school’s position about implications the group had previously made regarding the teaching of Critical Race Theory and related issues in the district. In solidarity, they attended the Morgan County R-II School District Board of Education meeting Thursday, July 22 at the middle school in Versailles. Addressing the board is John Shelton, standing, who stated, “We are up here for a reason.
