The Versailles Rural Fire Protection District recently responded to the following incidents:
Monday, Sept. 30, nine firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched to Fairgrounds Road for a motor vehicle accident. Versailles Rural Firefighters arrived on scene to find one vehicle on its top in the roadway. They investigated and found all occupants out of the vehicle and advised there were no injuries. Units were on scene for approximately 50 minutes and cleared the scene.
Wednesday, Oct. 2, four firefighters and three apparatus were dispatched to Highway D for a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival they found two vehicles were involved. Mid-Mo Ambulance District EMS and Missouri Highway Patrol were on scene. Versailles Rural Firefighters provided traffic control and cleared debris off the roadway. Units were on scene approximately 10 minutes.
Wednesday, Oct. 2, 13 firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance.
Thursday, Oct. 3, four firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for a smoke investigation on South Highway 5 at

Countryside Estates. Upon arrival, they found a controlled burn and advised dispatch. They cleared the scene.
Thursday, Oct. 3, three firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance. Upon arrival, they found Mid-Mo Ambulance District EMS were on scene and no assistance was needed.
Thursday, Oct. 3, five firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance. They provided manpower assistance and cleared the scene.
Friday, Oct. 4, four firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance. They provided manpower assistance and cleared the scene.
Friday, Oct. 4, 23 firefighters and three apparatus provided assistance setting up booths Friday night and Saturday for the Apple Festival and parade organization. Firefighters were on standby for medical and public service assistance for the Demolition Derby at the fairgrounds.
Saturday, Oct. 5, three firefighters and one apparatus responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Three Ponds Road; call canceled en route.
