The Versailles Rural Fire Protection District recently responded to the following incidents:
Wednesday, June 5, seven firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance.
Wednesday, June 5, two firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for alarm sounding; call canceled en route by the alarm company.
Thursday, June 6, three firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance.
Friday, June 7, two firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched to a location on Old Marvin Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident without injuries. Versailles Rural Fire Department provided traffic control. Units were on scene approximately 21 minutes.

Wednesday, June 12, 10 firefighters and five apparatus were dispatched to a structure fire at a location on Shady Road. They arrived on scene to find a manufactured home involved. The owner advised that the fire was disposing of an abandoned trailer. Engine 11 arrived and used a 1-3/4 hose to cool exposure. The owner will watch fire until it is out.
Wednesday, June 12, 10 firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched to a location on Old Marvin Road for a report of a non-injury motor vehicle accidents,
Thursday, June 13, five firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched to a location on Highway W for report of a motor vehicle accident, no injuries; call canceled by command.
Friday, June 14, eight firefighter and one apparatus were dispatched to provide manpower assistance. Units were on scene approximately 10 minutes.
Saturday, June 15, three firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched to a location on Highway 52 for report of a motor vehicle accident. Units were on scene approximately one hour ad 24 minutes.
Sunday, June 16, 12 firefighters and two personnel were dispatched to a location on Highway 5 report of a passenger fire; nothing found.
