The Versailles Rural Fire Protection District recently responded to the following incidents:
Thursday, Feb. 7, nine firefighters and one apparatus dispatched for a motor vehicle accident on Highway 5. Units were on scene for approximately 20 minutes.
Thursday, Feb. 7, nine firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 5 and Marvin Cutoff. Units were on scene for approximately five minutes.
Saturday, Feb. 9, five firefighters and two apparatus were dispatched for medical assistance on South Marvin Road.
Sunday, Feb. 10, three firefighters and one apparatus were dispatched for a report of a motor vehicle accident, with no injuries or damages, on Highway 52. They arrived on scene and found a semi-truck stopped on the edge of the road because of slick road conditions. Firefighters escorted the driver off the main highway to wait until roads were treated. Units were on scene approximately 10 minutes.
