Versailles Rural Fire Protection District Board of Directors Wednesday, June 23 reported their internet service was down almost two weeks due to a fault in the line outside the building. Co-Mo Connect replaced the line with an updated and stronger cable.
New reflective traffic vests were purchased for the protection of the firefighters who respond on scene.
The FPD board thanked Clair Zimmerman with Xtreme Crane for loading a tank at Station 2 on to a trailer for transport.
Versailles Community Betterment used the fire district’s white tent for an outdoor event.

There were 37 incidents in May 2021 with an average response time of 6:31 minutes: one building fire; one trash or rubbish fire; one passenger vehicle fire; 14 medical assist, one assist EMS crew; three emergency medical service, other; two EMS calls, excluding vehicle accident with injuries; one motor vehicle accident with no injuries; four motor vehicle accidents with injuries; one motor vehicle/pedestrian accident; one swift-water rescue; one oil or other combustible liquid spill; five assist invalid; and two dispatched and canceled en route
