Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners took several awards at the annual Missouri Master Gardener Association conference Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 18 in Jefferson City.
Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners were again recognized as the Chapter of the Year for medium-size chapters.
Member Earlene Britton was honored as Master Gardener of the Year.

The Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners, in the five years that the awards for excellence have been given, have won 13 of the 15 awards.
In related events, member Mary Ella Zimmerman hosted a tour of Mennonite country and catered lunch at Providence School.
Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners will host its fifth Field Day Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Britton Farm located at 22125 Old Five Road, south of Versailles. Registration will begin 9:30 a.m. with various programs starting 10 a.m. The Field Day is free and open to the public.
