The Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners and University of Missouri Extension invite the public to a Field Day scheduled 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. The Field Day is offered free of charge at the Britton Farm located at 22125 Old Five Road, Versailles.
There will be presentations about flower arranging, seed saving, invasive species, vegetable and tomato gardening, soil management, care of cactus and succulents, raising and using herbs, bluebirds, native plants, and monarchs.
Topics will be presented by representatives from the University of Missouri, Missouri Cactus and Succulent Society, Missouri Bluebird Society, Friends of the Monarchs, Lincoln University, Missouri Master Naturalists, and Ozark Prairie Master Gardeners.
Lunch will be available for purchase from The Flame Diner.
Dixieland Garage and Kevin Wilson will be providing live musical entertainment in the dining area.
