The Little Rascals Clover Kids 4-H Club met Thursday Nov. 10 in the Fireside Room of the gymnasium at the Assembly of God Church in Versailles. Pledges were given by Lyla Renken, Ashton Campbell, Hadleigh Courter and John Courter.
Roll call was taken with the question, “What is your favorite Thanksgiving Day food?”
The December calendar of events was handed out and upcoming community service projects were discussed.
Hadleigh Courter demonstrated how to make a nature puppy.
Lyla Renken presented a safety minute about how to make a first aid kit.
Ashton Campbell presented a conservation minute about white tail deer.
Members used various leaves collected during a recent scavenger hunt to create Thanksgiving turkeys. They named their turkeys and wrote what they are thankful for as well.
Members collected canned and boxed food items to donate to the local food pantry.
The next meeting of the Little Rascals is scheduled 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 in the Fireside Room of the Assembly of God Church gymnasium in Versailles.
