Jonathan Ray Oehrke, 56, lifelong resident of Stover, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City.
He was born Sept. 25, 1963 in Versailles, the youngest child of Glenn W. and Donice Alpers Oehrke.
He was baptized Oct. 13, 1963 and confirmed April 12, 1981, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stover.
He was a 1983 graduate of Stover High School.
He was employed at the Vintage Shop with Quality Industries in Versailles.
He enjoyed playing dominoes, Chinese checkers, and Aggravation. He was a fan of John Deere tractors, enjoyed feeding birds taking care of his dog, Bandit and going on trips with his brother Galen.
He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stover.
He is survived by brother Galen Oehrke and sister Linda Metscher, both of Stover; two nephews and their wives; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; several cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were Sunday, Dec. 1, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Stover with Pastor Gerald Kurka and Pastor Erik Rottman officiating.
Interment was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Stover.
Memorial contributions were suggested to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
