Frances Lee Lutman, 96, of Versailles, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
She was born May 5, 1922, in Barnett, a daughter of the late Leonard and Edith (Hess) Porter.
She married William Delmar Huff, who preceded her in death. She then married Byron Lutman on May 31, 1952, in Versailles. He preceded her in death Dec. 8, 1992.
She was employed at Primo Pants Factory for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending her time fishing, coloring, sewing ,and quilting.
She was a member of the Versailles First Assembly of God Church where she was in Women’s Ministries.
She is survived by children, Delmar “Pete” Huff and wife Leanna of Versailles, Leonard “Butch” Huff and friend Martha of Kansas City, Larry Lutman and wife Jeanie of Versailles, William Lutman and friend Rita of Greenview, Laura Ruth “Susie” Hilkemeyer of Kansas City, Byronita Gronstedt and husband Henry of Jefferson City, and Carmen Boatright and husband Ronnie of California, Mo.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers Norman Porter of Kansas City and Vernon Porter of Crystal Lake; sisters Louise Fulkerson of Kansas City, Cleoa Wilburn of Kansas City, and Sharon Williams of Springfield; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by brother John Porter and sisters Mary Walters and Gladys Huff.
Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Versailles First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Ryan Mortenson and Pastor John Fransisco officiating.
Graveside services and interment were in the Versailles Cemetery.
