Food for Morgan County will host regular food distributions in February at their facility, 305 W. Newton St., in Versailles.
Regular distributions are scheduled 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Those in need of assistance may come to any distribution, but are limited to one distribution per month. Participants may also schedule which distribution they plan to attend.
To participate, bring proof of residency such as an identification with correct address, utility bill or voter registration card, or official paperwork from the Division of Social Services; date of birth for each family member living in the home; and total income for the household.
Each time caregivers pick up food for others, they must bring a signed note from the head of household.
The food is being distributed in cooperation with the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri.
Those needing food are asked to bring their own containers. Donations of plastic bags are needed.
Everyone in need will receive food even if they don’t qualify for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) commodities.
Food for Morgan County is in need of clean plastic bags.
Donations are appreciation. Bags may be left inside the front door.
