Wyatt Espinosa

Versailles senior Wyatt Espinosa is the Tigers’ lone representative on the Tri-County Conference all-conference baseball team for 2019.
Espinosa was a second-team selection in this year’s balloting by the league’s coaches.
He started all 23 games the Tigers played and led the team in numerous categories, including at-bats (71), hits (26), runs (22), batting average (.366), stolen bases (20), put outs (132) and fielding percentage (.969). He tied for most doubles (4).
Senior Reece Lang of Boonville was chosen conference pitcher of the year. Senior Sam Stichnote of Southern Boone was selected as the conference most valuable player and Boonville’s Adam Arnette was voted coach of the year.
League newcomer Boonville captured the conference title with a 7-0 record. Southern Boone and Hallsville tied for second at 5-2.
