The Morgan County Commission Monday, Aug. 5 heard from Emergency Management Director Bill DiMarsico, who provided an emergency management update about grants and classes available. He also said he would like to meet with Jessica Geier at 911 dispatch and the commissioners to develop protocols.
The commission approved an increase in the Sheriff Fees Fund expenditures from $7,000 to $23,000.  
An amendment of the Inmate Prisoner Detainee Security Fund expenditures was also made, from $60,000 to $150,000.  
The Prosecuting Attorney Training Fund expenditures were adjusted from $500 to $750.  
M.B. “Doc” Jones had questions and concerns about the condition of Fairgrounds Road in Versailles. Western District Commissioner Ryan Hoffa said he would go out to check on the road and they would speak with Eastern District Commissioner Rodney Schad about it.
The next meeting of the Morgan County Commission is scheduled 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19 at the courthouse in Versailles.
