Co-Mo Connect Powered by Co-Mo Electric Cooperative recently celebrated the milestone of 25,000 broadband service subscribers.
“This is an exciting milestone for our organization and the region we serve,” said John Szymanowski, Chief Operations Officer of Co-Mo Connect. “This growth has been motivated by those in our service area and the surrounding territory encouraging the expansion of our broadband infrastructure to help bring reliable high-speed Internet to their communities. We appreciate the level of support the region has shown us.”
The 25,000-subscriber milestone not only marks a substantial growth achievement by the cooperative but also serves as a testament to the organization’s “dedication to its mission of improving the quality of life for the region it serves.”
“As an organization, we are committed to our mission, and as we bring on new projects, that mission remains at the forefront of our decision-making process,” said Aaron Bradshaw, Chief Executive Officer of Co-Mo Connect. “We are proud of the level of service we are able to provide to our region, and as we continue to grow, we continue to look at innovative solutions that can benefit our region using the high-speed internet infrastructure we provide.”
In celebration of this milestone achievement, Co-Mo Connect is holding a celebration in May. The celebration will announce who the 25,000th Co-Mo Connect subscriber is and provide them with a free year of gigabit internet, along with a 65-inch television, and a Nintendo Switch. In addition, the company is holding a 25k contest via social media and email, allowing all current subscribers to enter for a chance to win the same prize package.
The announcement of the 25k contest winners will happen later this month on the Co-Mo Connect Facebook page. For more information about the contest, visit www.comoconnect.com/25k.
“25,000 subscribers is a wonderful achievement, but it is by no means the finish line for Co-Mo Connect,” said Bradshaw. “We look forward to many celebrations such as this in the years to come.”
Co-Mo Connect will continue to celebrate this achievement throughout the month of May and during the cooperative’s 83rd Annual Meeting, which scheduled May 26.
