Citizens Bank of Eldon and Versailles recently announced retirement and promotions in its Versailles location. The following brief biographies were provided by the bank.
Rick Vogt retired effective June 30. He joined Citizens Bank in 1994 as a loan officer and branch manager of the Versailles location. During the last 27 years, he has been instrumental in the growth of the branch and has been a wonderful asset to the bank and the Versailles community.
In 2004, Rick was very active in the design and construction of the Citizens Bank building in Versailles and the branch located at Excelsior that was built in 2009.
His friendly and outgoing personality have been enjoyed by the bank’s customers and employees and he will be greatly missed. Rick will continue to serve on the Citizens Bancshares Board of Directors.
Immediate plans for Rick include golfing, hunting, traveling with wife Rhonda and spoiling their three precious grandkids.
Senior Vice President Brenda Fischer has been promoted to manager of the lending department. She joined the bank in 2004 and has assisted a large number of customers with real estate, agriculture, and commercial loans.
Brenda enjoys gardening, boating and biking the Katy Trail. She and her husband, Myron, own and operate their family farm in Stover. They have two daughters and five grandchildren.
Vice President John Anderson has been promoted to Operations Manager. He joined the bank in 2013. Along with his new responsibilities, he will continue assisting customers with all their credit needs.
John enjoys golfing, boating, camping and hunting at his farm. John and his wife, Christine, live in Versailles and have three daughters.
