The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the following recent accidents:
Mohr
Connor W. Mohr, 25, of Overland Park, Kan., drowned Saturday morning, July 8, on Weems Drive at Lake of the Ozarks in Morgan County.
Mohr had been fishing from a dock and was reported missing after failing to return. He was located in the water near the dock after a brief search.
Mohr was pronounced dead 11:53 a.m. Saturday, July 8 by Morgan County coroner Dr. M. B. Jones. Mohr’s body was transported by Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home to Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
Parks
Dawn M. Parks, 41, of Belleville, Ill., sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, on Red Hollow Road east of Twin Bays Road in Morgan County.
The accident occurred as the eastbound 2000 Honda Accord Parks was driving traveled off the right side of the road, struck a utility pole, and came to rest in the roadway facing west. Parks was wearing a safety device.
Parks was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.
Miller
Andrew J. Miller, 24, of Rocky Mount, sustained moderate injuries in a boating accident 2:20 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at the 2.5 mile-marker on the Osage arm of the Lake of the Ozarks in Miller County.
The accident occurred as Miller was attempting to board the 2015 Bombardier PWC he was operating and a wave knocked him down from the vessel. Miller was wearing a safety device.
Miller was transported by EMS to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach.
